Finance Business Partner

Marks Sattin are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Accountant, who is looking for the next step in their careers as a Finance Business Analyst. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and work alongside the Finance team, being responsible for ensuring financial data and information is processed on a timely basis and recorded accurately. You will be a lead in decision making and analysing financial information, coming to commercial decisions leading to maximisation of profits.

This role requires the individual to work autonomously and duties will vary, dependant on the needs of the business.

• Support business models for Capital Expenditure
• Savings projects - Financial validation of the savings and projections.
• Monthly financial information for key clients including contractual true-up on open book contract
• Month end processes covering Payroll posting and analysis, Capital & Depreciation, Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Financial validation of proposals, presentation to Financial Controller.
• Annual Budgeting Process - responsible for gathering inputs, building up Budget cost model and reviewing key outputs with Financial Controller and finance team.
• Quarterly Financial Forecast - roll up volume and overhead inputs from operations team, highlighting material changes and detailing any risks and opportunities.
• Business partnering activity and support to key cost centres
• Financial Modelling - Develop and maintain a business decision model for use to review various operational business cases
• Development & implementation of internal financial & operational controls.
• Deal with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance of audits and statutory requirements
