About the role:

They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their Group Finance team in Cranfield as a Finance Business Partner.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of the financial performance of the Group’s development programme in line with current plans and budgets.

Playing the role of Business Partner to the Development team, you will prepare and review management accounts, forecasts & budgets, produce monthly management reporting including the reporting of asset additions and disposals. You will also produce rolling development cash flow forecasts and quarterly cashflow statements for income and expenditure and ensure that all policies and procedures are maintained.

What they're looking for:

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of involving service users / customers in performance monitoring and development. Using your experience of data manipulation, you will have the ability to collate, analyse and report on statistical data. Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Access and SQL database technology is also essential.
