Head of Financial Control

A medium sized consumer products business based in Twickenham is looking to recruit a Head of Financial Control. An entrepreneurial culture with sales across Europe, US and Asia this is a number two to the CFO opportunity, managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Producing timely and accurate financial reporting for the businesses and for ensuring robust processes and internal controls are in place.
• Streamlining financial processes and systems and ensure that they are in alignment with those of the the wider business.
• Developing strong working relationships with other functions to ensure that there is a comprehensive understanding of responsibilities.
• Managing the audit process, ensuring comprehensive audit working papers are compiled to support process.
• Liasing with external parties such as auditors and tax advisors to ensure statutory obligations are adhered to.
• Managing treasury and banking arrangements - cash flow management.
• Supporting the process to ensure ensure full compliance with all UK tax regulations (Corporation tax, VAT, PAYE etc).
• Overseeing and managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable team.
• Work in collaboration with CFO, FP&A Manager and Head of Operations in making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Part of the lead team developing an appropriate ERP solution for the business.

Applicants must be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (or oversseas equivalent) and be willing to work in a entrepreneurial consumer focussed business.
