Management Accountant

A leading 300 year old charity based in South East London are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.

The role will be heavily focused on business partnering. This is a permanent full time position offering a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

You will be working very closely with the Financial Controller contributing to the financial appraisal of the charity's performance by developing and providing analytical reports the charity's activities.

Some of your key duties are:
To support and guide budget holders and senior management in their financial responsibility, support in business planning and performance, review, raise and maintain the level of business management expertise, assist budget holders in phasing of final budgets, preparing the monthly management accounts etc.

Candidates applying for this role should have experience of producing monthly management accounts and should be a qualified accountant or someone actively studying towards their finance qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA). You must have excellent communication skills and strong analytical and influencing skills. Experience of Opera Accounts and charity SORP / FRS 102 would be an added advantage.
