Tax Accountant

A leading professional services business based in Sheffield. Due to growth an exciting newly created role exists within this rapidly growing tax team. Working within this central tax team you will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, implement tax policies, and manage tax risks and ensuring / monitoring adherence to tax compliance obligations across the firm.

Key responsibilities include:
*Tax compliance and accounting for Europe
* Compliance, year-end accounting, transfer pricing and supporting or leading on adhoc projects
*Review and update tax reserving and supporting or leading on ad-hoc projects
* Preparation of reports where necessary
*Assist in the preparation of local TP documents
*Work collaboratively with Finance, in-house counsel and Risk, as well as working in cooperation with client facing teams
* Where required, develop controls and tax risk management systems
*Maintain comprehensive records


Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or equivalent) and / or chartered tax advisor. You will have a strong track record of working in tax - ideally in a mixed tax role and be keen to move In-House
