In this newly created position and reporting to the FD you will be responsible for all financial matters in the organisation and play a leading role in helping drive the business growth and profitability. In this end to end finance role you lead a small team and have overall responsibility for monthly reporting by profit centre, forecasting, managing cash, statutory reporting and leading the business planning an budgeting. Away from the reporting you will also be responsible for commercially supporting the SMT in evaluating growth opportunities as well as understanding profitability of current business, conducting and supporting operational reviews. To be considered for the role you will need to a qualified accountant, have experience of working in a SME sized company with exposure to the Financial Services or Professional Services sectors a real advantage. Additionally you will need to be an effective communicator with the ability to both challenge and influence the leadership team.
