Finance Manager, Amazon Payments Finance

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to lead the Amazon Gift Cards finance organization in the EU. The Finance Manager will partner with the Consumer Payments team and provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to a fast growing segment of the Company. This includes working closely with the Leadership Team on the strategic direction, operations and investment decisions of the business. The right individual will have strong finance, analytical, and leadership skills and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. He or she should possess solid business judgment and be capable of driving the right results, including the ability to influence senior business leaders and to work cross-functionally with multiple finance and business teams including Business Development, Product Management, Marketing and Operations.

The Finance Manager will play a key role in partnering with a team who:
- Forecasts and plans revenue, costs, and free cash flow
- Develops the models to support new initiatives and products
- Identifies and reports on initiatives to drive revenue and reduce cost
- Develops and reports on weekly and monthly financial and operational performance metrics
- Analyzes large data sets to generate additional insights into opportunities and risks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree required
· demonstrable finance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA or other post graduate financial certification (CFA/CMA/CPA) preferred
· Ability to present ideas to senior executives
· Advanced analytical skills
· Strong, timely business judgment and controllership focus
· Experience optimizing finance processes for speed, agility and insight
