Our client, a truly impressive construction company with offices near Watford are looking to source a Finance Data Analyst to join their team. This role will be supporting the FP+A Manager and will be engaging with the wider business to analyse drivers behind company performance. Key Responsibilities:
-Take ownership of the Quarterly Forecasting pack in Power BI
-Create and test all new measures in DAX, providing assistance and training to the wider business where needed
-Liaise with IT to manage the Finance Data Warehouse (built on MS SQL Server with KPIs in MS Analysis Services)
-Consolidate monthly Cash and Order Booking submissions for Power BI dashboard
-Submit quarterly financial results into HFM
-Assist in preparing supporting schedules for the Quarterly Reporting Pack for CFO
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious data analyst with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Previous experience with Power BI / VBA / Python would be advantageous. An individual who is analytically focused with strong communication skills would fit well within this team and there will be genuine opportunities to progress within the business.
