Venn Group is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join an exciting organisation with excellent career prospects based near to Warwick, for a temporary to permanent contract.
The successful candidate will provide financial support to a Commercial Finance Manager and will undertake the following duties:
- Assisting with month end reporting and month end journals
- Undertaking financial analysis when required
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculating and posting journals including accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with reporting on various commercial areas of the business such as costs, KPIs, operations, performance and variances

- Have a finance background and an understanding of basic finance such as accruals, prepayments and payroll
- Be a good communicator and be able to work with non-finance staff
- Ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
