DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join an exciting, high growth area of Amazon within our European Operations Finance team.
This role will be responsible for partnering with the Operations Intergration team for EU Amazon Logistics. Amazon Logistics's is a high paced growth part of Amazon, growing on a significant basis year over year, but also continuously looking to influence and change our operational process. The Operations Integration team are responsible for scoping, designing and driving improvements to our operational process and flows for the better. As their finance partner, you will be responsible for costing out and analyzing the impact of these ideas alongside them. Giving you a true opportunity to influence our operation!

Key Responsibilities:
o Building and managing the right reporting and guidance to support the business
o Owning business planning and forecasting processes
o Conducting business case analysis of new programs and services
o Supporting internal customer groups in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control.
o Identifying and communicating issues to senior management as well as regular reporting
Skills/Experience:
o Demonstrable relevant finance/analytical experience
o Excellent written communication skills
o Experience in logistics would be helpful. Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment is essential.
o Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis and problem solving
o Advanced Excel user
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
o Fluent in English
o BA/BS degree in Finance, Business and/or similar discipline with analytical/data bias (Engineering / Sciences)
o Experience with COGNOS and SQL is a strong plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Excellent analytical skill, ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
o Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools and modelling
o Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
o Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
