Your new company
Hays Senior Finance is recruiting an Internal Auditor for a large highly regarded manufacturing business with sites throughout the world.
The position of Internal Auditor will involve conducting fieldwork at sites throughout the world to provide assurance that anti-bribery and corruption controls are operating effectively. The position involves 50% international travel. Audit visits will be for a maximum of 2 weeks, but will often only be for a few days. The hours of work are 8 to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Your new role
You will conduct transactional testing, document review, process assessments/ interviews, prepare reports on your findings and devise corrective/ preventative action plans to provide assurance that anti-bribery and corruption controls have been effectively implemented within the global businesses and in third parties who do work on their behalf.
You will test financial records from various systems
You will provide recommendations how to improve anti-bribery and corruption controls
You will work with Compliance to design and develop new methods to test compliance with global anti-bribery laws
What you will need to succeed
You will be an experienced auditor, hold an accountancy or auditing qualification, live local to the Hull area and be comfortable travelling internationally for 50% of the year.
What you will get in return
