Group Reporting Accountant

Are you a technically minded Financial Accountant with group consolidation experience, UKGAAP / USGAAP and working within Engineering and Manufacturing ?

Description

- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounts preparation (USGAAP / UKGAAP)

- Prepare the annual set of statutory accounts under UKGAAP / USGAAP and other local requirements

- Work with SSC to deliver the month end reporting to a tight 3 days reporting timetable (JDE to HFM/Hyperion)

- Review the manufacturing accounting records, perform analysis of actual vs. standard cost, PPV/IPV, allocation of variances etc.

- Business partnering throughout organisation (globally)

- Support the monthly rolling-forecast / POR process, financial planning and annual budgeting process as required

Profile

* Qualified Financial Accountant (ACA / ACCA)

* Previous experience with US and UK GAAP reporting

* Experience in a manufacturing and commercial environment, preferably with standard costing

* Experience with corporate accounting & reporting systems, preferably JDEdwards (JDE), Hyperion (HFM), other ERP systems

* Experience with SOX compliance

* Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills are key for this role

* Proven ability to work with people at all levels
