A well-established manufacturing business in Warrington is seeking to add a Cost Controller to their team.
Role and Responsibilities
The key duties of the Cost Management Accountant will include:
- Analysis of KPIs including sales, production, scrap and labour efficiencies
- Sales and margin analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Analysis of variances
- Budget and strategy planning in conjunction with the Plant Controller
- Maintaining costing according to production costs (BOM, routines, hourly rates)
- Preparation of hourly overhead rates
- Maintaining and monitoring stock levels
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures
- Providing financial support to the management team as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Finalist or Qualified Accountant - ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
- SAP Experience
- Manufacturing Experience
- Strong controlling experience
- Strong stakeholder management
- Excellent Excel skills
Salary and Contract
- £37,000 - £43,000 per annum
- Permanent, full time contract
