My client is a market leading aviation business based in Sussex. They are looking to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant to work closely with and support the Group Finance Director.
As the Senior Group Financial Accountant, your role will include
- Responsibility for all financial statement production including the Group annual financial statements
- Review and sign off individual entity financial statements
- Liaising with worldwide external auditors
- Production of monthly aggregated and quarterly consolidated financial statements
- Managing internal control procedures
- Keeping up to date with new accounting standards and their implications
- Ensure Group entities are working to the correct accounting standards
The ideal candidate will be -
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous PLC experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and the changes required in transitioning from FRS102
- Thorough knowledge of financial systems and procedures
