Partner Financial are working with an international, industry leading marketing business that have worked with a plethora of global brands and have continued to grow in their primary markets. The business prides itself on their ability to deliver first and foremost, as well as maintain the highest level service at all levels. They have been successful and gained such a reputation due to their refined expertise, accompanied by their service and delivery focus.
The business is looking to develop their various markets - domestically and internationally – whilst maintaining their reputation for excellence. They are now looking for a Group Accountant to join the team during this exciting period to support their plans for growth and the overall function with various projects and analysis, as well as carrying out consolidations.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly consolidated group management reports for delivery to the Board;
- Assisting in the delivery of the quarterly and annual Group P&L, ensuring all divisional P&L submissions are in line with Group Accounting policy and procedures;
- Highlighting areas where process can be improved and optimised for example, supporting the creation of an efficient forecasting process to ensure strong cash management;
- Annual Group Accounts preparation and audit support;
- Understanding Group Foreign exchange exposures to ensure the correct provision of analysis to inform the hedging process and its optimisation;
- Ad-hoc analysis as required to influence process improvements and enhance controls.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- An Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CA from a top-tier practice)
- Ability to develop, adapt and improve current and new processes and procedures;
- A genuine hands-on, self-starter with the ability to make an impact on the business;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to influence senior business stakeholders;
- The ability to manage workload, prioritise and plan efficiently;
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
- Strong communication skills both written and oral;
- A driven and resilient attitude.
