My client, a highly successful organisation based in North Kent, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller. Working closely with the Finance Director and managing a small team, you will be responsible for:
- Primary responsibility for production of accurate management accounts to include site P&L's, balance sheet, cashflow and associated reports within tight deadlines
- Analytical review of the management accounts
- Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts
- Preparation of month end balance sheet files and year end file
- Lead user of principle accounting system
- Maintenance and improvement of company financial controls
- Responsible for purchase order system - queries and reconciliations
- Produce accurate weekly reports on company performance
- Coordinate and produce yearly budget and mid-year forecasts
- Responsible for period board packs
- Production of year end statutory accounts and liaison with auditors
- VAT reporting
- Ad-hoc projects
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of working in a similar role.
