Heyland Recruitment are working alongside a growing Manufacturing business based in Warrington as they look to recruit a Costing Analyst for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity. The role holder will be required to provide accurate product costs for new & existing products, along with maintaining standard costing infrastructure within the ERP / accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Financial appraisal of new initiatives and projects / products in line with NPI process
2. Post production evaluation of costings and contractual performance
3. Provision of ad-hoc commercial analysis around Cost of Goods
4. Ongoing maintenance of product costs within the ERP system
5. To provide support to the budget and forecasting process on standard costs of goods
6. Development and subsequent ongoing maintenance of NPD costing database
7. Provision of costing support to the business
8. Supporting the Financial controller in provision of monthly management accounts
9. Proactively seeking new ways of working to improve efficiencies in the department
10. Positive "can do" attitude is essential to this role
