The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a high-growth, Private Equity backed healthcare business on a 6-month contract. The business has grown from £100m to £125m in the last year through acquisition and they need an immediately available interim (one week notice maximum) to join their fast-paced environment.
This is the perfect opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant to deal with audit requirements and provide support on complex consolidation work. With heavy exposure to the senior management team and a CFO that has successfully led 2 exits, this is a great role for an ambitious individual to take the next step in their career. The business has recently moved to a new office near Waterloo station, an ideal location for many.
The Role:
- Assistance in complex consolidation of group reporting
- Year-end preparation
- Dealing with audit queries and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Reporting under IFRS (9 and 15 is an additional bonus)
- Acquisition accounting (IFRS 3)
- Ad-hoc tasks
The Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent
- Experience in Private Equity/Multisite
- Experience in IFRS reporting and knowledge of current standards
- Experience in group consolidation
- Experience in preparing year end for audit
- Exposure to acquisition accounting
- Experience in healthcare (preferable)
