SF Group are recruiting an Interim Finance Director for our West Midlands based Civil Service client for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will provide financial leadership, financial management/control and advise the accounting officer and wider board on all accounting matters. You will participate, via membership of the SMT, in the general management of the organisation and be a focal point for all financial and governance focused questions.
You will have responsibility for the production, analysis and monitoring of management accounts and forecasts and be the main point of contact for the NAO and contracted external auditors. Candidates who have experience in the Public Sector with acumen of working within "Managing Public Money" guidelines are encouraged to apply.
Our client seeks a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA/CIPFA) who can be available to commence the contract in March 2019.
