A PE backed business in North Birmingham is seeking an interim Systems Accountant to help strengthen and develop their existing ERP System.
This successful business is entering significant growth phase; transitioning from owner managed to medium sized. It has a strategy in place to double turnover, therefore the ERP system needs critical attention to provide the support required.
The Role
The business is presently heavily reliant on Excel with mainly manual processes and reporting. The Systems Accountant will be required to:
- Create significant improvements to MI
- Develop reporting
- Incorporate purchasing
- Map out month end processes
- Automate processes to move away from Excel
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced Systems Accountant
- Able to quickly understand the business needs and implement new strategies
- Able to work well in a team
Salary and Contract
- Initial 12 month contract (with potential to extend)
- Up to £300 per day
