Site Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for the Scunthorpe site of a multi billion turnover manufacturing business.

This Finance Manager job opportunity will give you a great opportunity to progress your career. Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Scunthorpe business to achieve budgeted targets for all site KPI's by providing information to senior management team, enabling them to make timely and well informed decisions.


Responsibilities will include:

- Monitor the performance of the site to enable tactical and strategic decision making
- Produce weekly P&L reporting with detailed analysis as required by Commercial and Industrial teams
- Produce monthly information to assist in the production of P&L, complete margin process and detailed analysis for gross margin & overhead variances
- Support the Commercial and Development teams in costing new and existing products
- Conduct departmental cost centre reviews, ensuring accurate accruals are posted whilst maintaining tight cost control
- Complete annual budget for cost of sales and overheads, completing all group templates and presentations required
- Continually review and challenge internal controls and recommend any changes
- Capex management and liaison. Return on investment tracking is of particular importance
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as required by management


Key Skills / Experience:

- CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified or qualified by experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong business partnering skills
- Commercial acumen
- Advanced MS Excel incl. macro's
