Goldhawk Associates are working in partnership with an innovative and market leading organisation based in Mid Kent who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager for a minimum of 6 months. Working closely with the senior management team you will be responsible for:
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to support decision making across all areas of the business
- Responsible for day to day financial operations of the organisations activities in accordance to UK GAAP
- Implement an efficient and effective UK month-end close process that ensures results are delivered in line with agreed local & Group timetables
- Develop a month end reporting pack meeting the needs of stakeholders which includes Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cashflow statement and commentary and constantly refine and improve the process
- Responsible for the organisations budget, forecasting, cash management and local/corporate tax. Develop comprehensive business plan analysis and make recommendations, based on analysis of the entity data, emerging trends and experiences
- Lead and develop the Finance & Human Resources teams
- Ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future plans
- Manage and maintain relationships with corporate finance, external audit, tax, and general advisors to support the organisations needs
The successful candidate will be a technically strong qualified Accountant with experience of working in a commercial environment. It is beneficial if you have experience of implementing ERP software.
