Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a high performing finance team as a Finance & Business Analyst. In a role that's as interesting as it is diverse, you'll provide the top-level Management Information behind strategic decisions the business make, analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, highlight anomalies and flag up issues that need to be addressed.

This role is the bridge between business and data where you are able to take complex business requirements and translate them into the appropriate output. Your outputs will range from the delivery of analysis in Excel to more complex dashboards. You will also need to help support a wide variety of departments with their business needs in an accurate and timely manner.
You will need to proactively build relationships across the business to communicate and present solutions so that you're helping our stakeholders make more informed decisions through the power of data. Delivering your conclusions in the form of accurate, timely, robust and well-presented reports, you'll influence everything from purchasing to stock management, operations to sales performance, working closely with the Senior Executive team.

Other roles and responsibilities include;

  • Building Power BI reports on line
  • Ad hoc Projects & Support
  • Developing, compiling and maintaining Daily, Weekly and Monthly MI reports for distribution across the business
  • Quality Assuring to ensure the integrity of MI distributed
  • Helping users understand and interpret various MI Reports
  • Creating new MI reports to guide the Business in different strategies



What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you'll need to be highly numerate, and meticulous in your approach. Strong business analysis skills and attention to detail are a must. As is a good grasp of Microsoft Excel. With that in mind, you'll need to be a confident communicator - both in writing and in person - and the ability to work well as part of a team.
