Management Accountant

I am working with a leading blue chip PLC in South Manchester to recruit an experienced and qualified Management Accountant. Duties to include:

• Production of management accounts and other financial information
• balance sheet reconciliations
• Attend management meetings
• Production of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Manage a small team including performance reviews

Applicants should have:

• Have 2 years’ relevant experience of producing accurate and timely management accounts within a busy and fast moving environment
• possess a relevant professional qualification ie CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Have the personality to establish a strong working relationship with the operational management team as well as demonstrating the ability to add value by the provision of relevant commercial/business information
• Have proven people management and teamwork skills
• Possess good Systems and IT skills
• Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to travel within the UK 2 to 4 times a month
