About Our Client
Maxpower Automotive is a subsidiary of Tricorn Group plc (AIM listed) based in West Bromwich which supplies blue chip OEM's with a specialised range of rigid pipes and tubular assemblies for incorporating in to products for customers predominantly in the land and off-highway sectors.
Job Description
As Financial Controller you are expected to lead a small team which is accountable for co-ordinating and reporting on all of the onsite financial activities of the business:
The key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will be to undertake the following:
- Provide financial leadership to the Maxpower business;
- Business partner the Maxpower Operations Director;
- Review and improve internal financial process and procedures;
- Develop financial systems to provide meaningful reporting;
- Produce monthly management results for submission to the Group;
- Produce forecasts and budgets for the business;
- Prepare statutory returns as required.
Finally you will play a pivotal role within the business by co-ordinating closely with the Operations, Purchasing, HR and Business Development teams both within the business and Group-wide.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller role will be able to pick things up quickly and manage multiple tasks at any one time. They will also have the following attributes:
- Track record of working within a manufacturing led environment;
- Goal orientated;
- Proactive.
