Financial Accountant

Newly created position working for an expanding digital media organisation that has experienced a period of change in recent months. Initially the position will be to reconcile the accounts and work with the Head of Finance to prepare the accounts take the company through its upcoming audit.

The company has recently undergone a corporate restructure resulting in the accounts for numerous international territories to be on-shored onto the UK. With this in mind the client is looking for an individual who has worked in practice to ensure that the accounts are fully compliant for when the auditors arrive and to be there to assist with any queries that occur during this period.

Throughout this period you will also be in charge of a couple of business units preparing the monthly management accounts and working with the management of these divisions providing any financial support and analysis required.

This is a role that will evolve over time and will grow and develop, especially post audit. This position will initially be for a 6  month period but for the right person has the potential to go permanent.

To be a suitable candidate you will be a recently qualified and be technically strong with the ability to complete accounts under IFRS. You will need to be a driven individual who has excellent attention to detail and want to work within a thriving company experiencing positive growth.
