Internal Audit Manager

FTSE 250 company seeks Internal Audit Manager to join a high performing team based in central London. The company itself is a services company with a presence in over 30 countries, and a strong track record of growth and innovation. Working in a team of 4 experienced Internal Audit Managers, you will report directly to the Head of Audit and have an impact on the strategy and direction of the audit plan, as well as working on a wide range of risk based audits from planning to completion stages. You will be performing Advisory and Assurance engagements in core financial areas, contracts, central functions and for project implementations, then discussing audit findings with the audit team and preparing audit reports for the Board. Travel is 30-40% to countries including Australia, Germany, France, Japan, China, Canada and Brazil (to offices in city locations). The Group Finance Director is keen to recruit a talented individual who can rotate into the wider business in 2-3 years' time, either here in the UK or in a foreign territory.
The successful candidate will be Big 4 trained, ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and have experience of leading internal audits in a listed business. You will be able to deal with complex financial or non financial problems, and influence senior management in different counties. You must have fluent report writing skills in English, but the ability to speak another European or Asian language would be advantageous.
