Your New Job

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Team. You will be responsible for the inputting of invoices onto the accounting system and chasing suppliers to ensure the correct information is received for input. You will also take calls and advise on payment dates for invoices being paid. You shall also be responsible for the coding of invoices for input onto the system; whilst advising the purchasing department of any queries relating to stock invoices and purchase orders. You will also match and reconcile goods received notes (GRNs) to invoices and purchase orders, chasing the Warehouse Manager when appropriate.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Our Client is looking for a knowledgeable Accounts Assistant with a proven track record of processing a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis. Ideally you’ll have at least 2 years’ experience dealing with sales ledger, payroll and credit control duties and be someone who relishes working in a fast paced and energetic environment. You’re an excellent problem solver with the ability to think on your feet. Your ability to deliver customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner. As a successful applicant you will have a working knowledge of both SAP and Sage.
