ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by a construction business based in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Management Accountant who has a thorough understanding of project accounting. This is the ideal opportunity for an accountant who is looking to further their career with a business that will support their growth and will continually provide challenges and development opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Financial Controller, produce on-time and accurate management accounts and provide them with business performance information
- Working closely with the sales and development teams, providing them vital business information
- Working closely with the FC and FD, to produce budgets and forecasts
- Manage WIP, Stock and fixed assets, ensuring they are recorded accurately
ESSENTIAL
- You will need to be a qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/ACMA
- Experience of budgeting and producing on monthly reports and accounts
- Experience of project accounting
- Strong Excel skills.
SUMMARY
The successful individual will have the necessary technical knowledge but with equal importance, have the ability to build relationships and support people at all levels in the business given the interactional needs of this role.
