Finance Analyst Job Telford Temporary to Permanent Contract
Your new company
I am working with a large supply chain & logistics business based in Shropshire to recruit a vacancy for a Part-Qualified/Newly Qualified Accountant, This job will initially be a temporary contract 3-6 months with the potential for a temp-to-perm appointment.
Your new role
Working alongside a Management Accountant and reporting to a Financial Controller you role will be to support the finance department with weekly and monthly Management Accounts and other reports for both internal and external use. Working to tight deadlines you will produce reports on expenditure as well as review budget and forecast. This will include preparing raw data, reformatting and inputting information into Excel models to facilitate detailed analysis. You will extract data to produce a monthly management information pack as well as review price, volume variances to include in customer commentary.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be AAT or Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA Accountant with a desire to complete your professional accountancy qualification and become a fully qualified accountant. We are looking for applicants with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work with complex formulas and manipulate large amounts of data. Previous knowledge of Microsoft Access is desirable as well as good attention to detail, knowledge of tracking changes and change control processes. You should have good communication skills and the ability to work at a fast paced in targeted environment.
