My client is looking to appoint a Financial Controller due to this fast growing business moving into its next exciting phase of expansion.

This UK business has an excellent presence in the marketplace and is looking for a qualified accountant with team management experience to report into the Finance Director, assisting with projects in due diligence and transition of acquired companies in the finance function.

You will ideally have a multisite business to business or business to consumer background but this is not essential.

Responsibilities will include –

  • Managing a small team of 3, coaching and developing them.
  • Month end process
  • Board pack preparation and commentary
  • All business reporting, profitability and results analysis
  • Manage the audit process
  • Lead the transition of the VAT preparation in house and be tax digital ready
  • Create all departmental reporting within the finance system along with all accounts configuration
  • Manage all departmental reviews
  • Cash forecasting

My client is looking for someone to have advanced excel and basic modelling skills, you will be detail and solution orientated with a desire to grow with the business.
