Broster Buchanan are partnering with a successful manufacturing business, looking to recruit a Finance Manager, based in Cheshire.As Finance Manager you will have overall accountability for financial reporting and control for the division and provide proactive, strategic and insightful financial support.Key responsibilities will include:Responsibility for the provision of high-quality management accounts and other financial reporting.Preparation of weekly, periodical, quarterly and annual management information.Take responsibility for the preparation of forecasts and budgets to support business reporting and decision making.Ensure all internal financial controls are operating as intended, looking for improvements wherever appropriate.Proactively building relationships with all functions and taking accountability for the provision of timely and accurate financial information.Promoting a continuous improvement environment with strong commercial awareness.Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of the senior management team.Proactively working with managers to improve knowledge and provide support to enable them to perform their roles effectively.To manage and develop the finance team, providing direction and support and setting clear expectations. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ CIMA/ACCA )with proven, hands-on experience of management reporting in a complex business. You will have excellent Excel and analysis skills and have the gravitas and credibility to deal with and influence senior personnel and external stakeholders. Good business report writing skills are important, together with the ability to summarise financial information for a variety of internal stakeholders. Finance expertise within manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential.
