An expanding and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells is looking to bolster its growing corporate finance department with the addition of a qualified ACA / ACCA Corporate Finance Executive / Senior as a result of growth, as a key addition in this growing department, where you will have genuine opportunity to progress and develop in this role and firm.

Description

Preparation of Financial Due Diligence reports in respect of:

  • Corporate acquisitions
  • Private equity acquisitions
  • Bank pre-lending reviews
  • Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during execution of transactions
  • Liaising with other departments (e. tax) throughout the transaction

Lead Advisory

  • Report writing (e. preparation of Information Memorandum, Business Plans)
  • Financial modelling (e. cash flow/financing models)
  • M&A analysis (e. identification of potential acquisition targets or buyers)
  • Researching, preparing and supporting presentations/sales pitches for new business
  • Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during execution of transactions
  • Relationship building with local intermediary market (banks, lawyers etc)

Profile

The candidate is likely to have an audit background and whilst some Transaction Services or Corporate Finance experience would be helpful it is not essential. The candidate must however have a strong interest in, and enthusiasm for Corporate Finance and be a genuine team player. They need to be commercially minded and display high levels of accuracy and diligence in their work. The job is likely to suit a self-starter with energy to work flexible hours and to tight deadlines.

We require an ACA or ACCA qualified with good written and verbal communication skills. The position will be client facing and therefore the successful candidates will need to be confident and professional. Due to the location of our clients the candidate must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
