FP&A Analyst - Marketing - E-commerce | London
The FP&A Analyst-Marketing role will be part of a dynamic team which undertakes financial planning and analysis (FP&A) supporting two Divisions of the company. This role is a key point of contact for the two Marketing teams and will be responsible for analysis across the Marketing function from cost to customer journey.
- Key business partner for the two Marketing teams.
- Generate management reports that provide insightful business analysis on performance trends (including ROI), variances, risks and opportunities. Presentations to key stakeholders across the brand and group.
- Analysis of marketing activity to determine effectiveness and guide decision-making.
- Lead accurate forecast process and analysis of marketing spend and Opex costs.
- Create effective and credible partnerships by working collaboratively to support and challenge stakeholders in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense/PO tracking and control.
- Identify business trends and provide insight to enhance performance and profitability.
- Provide support to the rest of the FP&A team.
- Provide cover for the Group FP&A team and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience necessary
- Excellent financial modelling, data manipulation and Excel skills.
- Excellent business partnering skills.
- Ability to link financial results and outcomes to operational and commercial trends.
- Stong stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work independently
- Eagerness to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Experience working with retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, distribution or technology businesses.
About You
- Qualified Accountant, MBA qualified or equivalent with some PQE experience.
- Commercially astute with the ability to analyse financial information and provide commentary
- Strong business partnering skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- European languages beneficial (Spanish, French, German etc)
