OUR CLIENT are the real estate Investment arm of a highly successful global financial services group with investments varying from property and infrastructure to bonds and cash. They are well established globally, as well as in the UK and have now created an additional role for a part-qualified accountant to join their respected team.

THE ROLE will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Reviewing monthly reporting packs.
  • Calculating estimated and final Net Asset Value figures.
  • Monitoring subscription and redemption prices.
  • Calculating INREV fee and expense metrics upon receipt from the administrator.
  • Preparing/reviewing administrator submissions including: AIFMD reports, INREV SDDS reports, annual subsidiary budgets and the consolidated fund budget.
  • Reviewing VAT calculations and Corporation Tax.
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts for the fund and monitoring any cash transfers.
  • Overseeing interest payments and preparing intercompany loan/profit participating loan control schedules.
  • Preparing performance calculations on a monthly basis.
  • Preparing analytical reviews for submission to the Board on a quarterly basis.
  • Aiding in the preparation of inputs for investor reports.
  • Preparing information for the tax team, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Providing information to support consolidation reporting.
  • Liaising with external accounting providers.
  • Reviewing subsidiary financial statements under relevant GAAPs.
  • Reviewing the fund's annual financial statements under IFRS guidelines.
  • Providing quarterly/annual audit information.
  • Preparing submissions for the annual SPV board meetings.

THE PERSON: To apply, you will be mid-way through part-qualification as an Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and ideally possess practical experience of reviewing accounts and ideally with property financial accounting experience. You must be confident with strong analytical skills as well as have a high level of attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable in challenging a variety of financial data, as well as have excellent communications skills. You must be proactive and diligent, work effectively in a larger team and be a team player.
