Financial Accountant

My Client, a well-established Tech firm is looking for Financial Accountant to support the business growth. The business itself operates on a global basis and has consistently doubled in size every couple of years.

As a Financial Accountant you will be supporting the acquisition and merging of new businesses. With other duties consisting of:

• Maintaining, interpreting and reporting of timely and accurate financial data
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly US GAAP accounts including variance analysis
• Preparation and analysis of variances to budget/forecast and Balance Sheet
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of action items
• Supporting the annual statutory audit and financial statement preparation process under IFRS
• Assisting with the review of cross border transactions, ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing procedures
• Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT and GST returns
• Calculation and management of accruals and prepayments for UK and European entities
• Work closely with the System team on any changes to the accounting system as well as rollout to additional locations
• Implementation of best practices within the finance department

This position will suite a Big 4 Qualified Accountants first or second move into industry as the business provide a fantastic opportunity progress within the business.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organistaional skills, the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Candidates will be a Qualified ACCA or ACA.
