Financial Accountant

SF Group are recruiting for a part qualified / qualified financial accountant to join a prestigious client based in Warwickshire. The Financial accountant will be responsible for a number of month end activities and reconciliations as well as supporting the complete and accurate submission of the group reporting pack. Further duties of the role are below:

Prepare the statutory accounts for the Corporate companies
Supporting the preparation of internal reports in line with group requirements including quarterly forecasts, TSA, annual budgets, monthly reporting and disclosures for the Corporate companies
Support the TSA process, including review of the templates completed by the team, as well as dealing with queries from head office
Support quarterly VAT return process helping ensure returns are prepared in a timely fashion to a high standard and payment deadlines are met
Liaise and day to day management of the relationship with our professional advisors to facilitate the provision of P&L analysis and the submission of the UK tax returns
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations proposing improvements as appropriate
Assist in managing the audit process
Supporting both the daily and monthly treasury processes
Maintain a current and up to date knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Ensuring compliance with all relevant ICFR and SOx controls, assisting remediation with others where deficiencies are present


The successful candidate will either be part qualified or a qualified, posses strong experience within stat accounts production and be looking to join a business that are going through exciting times.
