My client who are a rapidly growing logistics company are looking to expand their finance team and hire a Senior Financial Accountant.
Reporting directly into the company Finance Manager you will be responsible for heading up the day to day financials including; preparation of month end accounts, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconcilitions and year end statutory accounts.
Duties include:
- Prepare monthly/yearly accounts - P&L, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journals.
- Statutory accounts
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Prepare monthly summary reports for senior management
- Day to day management of finance assistants
- Strengthen internal processes where neccassary
- Ad hoc support across the business
The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified/finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and MUST have a strong technical accounting background and good financial reporting experience - statutory accounting, analytical skills
Strong Excel skills are essential
SAP software experience is desirable
