Your new firm
A modern accountancy firm based in modern Manchester City Centre offices are looking to appoint a senior accountant to join the team. The firm have multiple offices across the UK and the US and they specialise in clients within the sports, music and entertainment sectors. This opportunity has arisen to support the senior management with the supervision of the team and the client base.

Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will provide day to day management of a small team of accountants along with the client base to ensure that the accounts compliance is prepared and finalised to a high standard within the relevant deadlines. Day to day duties will include delegating, reviewing, preparing and finalising accounts, managing the deadlines, liaising with clients to resolve issue and provide advice and overseeing the team, helping to develop more junior members.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or finalist into this role who has trained within general practice. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage your own deadlines and any previous team supervision experience would also be advantageous. As you will be a key point of contact for your clients, you must be able to show initiative and ability to research and advise on client queries.
