Job Summary

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the opportunity I’m recruiting will appeal to an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified accountant who seeks progression in an environment that supports its people and where people tend to stay and build their careers long-term.

My client will support exams and training in order to help you become the best accountant you can be.

The successful candidate will be:-
  • Preparing the regulatory returns for branches based on reporting requirements for each jurisdiction, with a particular focus on the FCA, PRA and Bank of England returns.
  • Liaising with branches to obtain information for inclusion of management, statutory and regulatory reporting for the bank.
  • Preparing Value-Added Tax return for the branches based on reporting guidelines for each jurisdiction.
  • Monitoring revenue and expense budgets.
Candidate

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will:-
  • Be a part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with detailed understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Highly professional, corporate and presentable.
  • Hold 2 – 3 years financial reporting experience working with FCA and/or PRA and hold accounts payable experience.
  • Be currently working in a bank or the wider financial services industry, including insurance.
  • Be a detail-oriented individual.
