Broster Buchanan are delighted to be supporting an Global Food Manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Group Operations Accountant. Reporting into the Group Head of Operational Finance and supporting the newly appointed R&D Director you will you will be responsible for a really high profile division who are looking at driving new product lines and improve the information that is used in the decision making process. This role has come about due to an internal promotion and we are ideally looking for a candidate who is keen to progress within a very commercial organisation and are looking to transform and modernise all aspects of the business whilst developing their own operational and commercial skills. My client will offer exceptional progression to the right candidate and ultimately could move into a 'Head of' or Divisional Finance Director position. The key focus for this role will be to:

Ensuring the effective delivery of high quality financial analysis and associated commentary to Senior Management to enable good decision makingWorking with Operational Managers and Directors to identify risks & opportunities to improve Financial Performance across the businessCo-ordinate the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across with responsibility for maintenance & development of robust budget, forecast & three-year plan modelsDuties:

Development of enhanced Group Reporting (both financial & operational KPIs) so as to deliver improved analysis and & in-sightful commentary on the monthly performance of each manufacturing unit, including progress on significant improvement initiatives from a financial perspective.Support the R&D Department with Financial Modelling & Analysis of new projectsPlan and co-ordinate the budget & quarterly forecasting processBe a member of the new ERP implementation team ensuring the operational needs of the manufacturing sites are met along with the site reporting requirements to the wider group business.Provide Information to support commercial pricing decisionsTo apply for this role you will need to be a fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant ideally from a Food or complex Manufacturing background with experience of operational or commercial innovation and continuous improvement, budgeting and forecasting and developing enhanced reporting. You will also need:

    Strong Excel skillsExperience of 'World class manufacturing metricsThe ability to synthesise large volumes of data and analyse into concise and informative reports and presentations suitable for a wide range of audiences.Be able to demonstrate what good looks like
