Our client, a growing business who operate in the construction / manufacturing sector are looking to source a Company Accountant to join the business. This is a stand-alone finance role that will report directly into the company MD. The role encompasses the entire finance function from books of prime entry to reporting and advising senior management and director / shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
-Full Management of the accounting function that includes:
-Annual Account Preparation
-Monthly Accounts
-Transaction Processing
-Cash Posting
-CIS and VAT Returns
-Management Reporting
-Controlling order book
This role would suite a 'hands on' Finance Manager with excellent communication skills and experience working within the construction industry. There will be daily communication with senior company stakeholders as well as sub-contractors and the business need a candidate who can challenge current procedures where necessary.
