Finance Director

Our client is a hugely profitable software-enabled private equity-backed business which has been experiencing double digit profitable organic growth over the last 5 years. They are seeking a highly commercial and entrepreneurial Finance Director to partner the CEO in executing their ambitious yet highly achievable growth plans ahead of a future liquidity event.

As Finance Director, you will play a key role in leading and managing the small finance team, ensuring the accuracy and presentation of all financial results to the Board and recommending them business initiatives from a financial perspective. You will also be making a significant contribution to the strategic direction and growth of the business as well as having responsibility for cash flow management and forecasting, processes and controls, and installation of KPI’s, processes, (new) systems to maintain an effective finance function. 

The successful candidate will be a strong qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and will have been an autonomous “hands-on” Finance Director, ideally in both an owner managed business and a PE-backed business, ideally taking a business through a PE exit. You will have worked in a fast-moving business environment, with a strong force of character to influence business decisions from both a financial and a commercial viewpoint, as well as the energy to drive the company through further organic growth. The role will be challenging but presents an outstanding opportunity to work in a growing company with exciting growth plans.
