Business/Finance Analyst

We are delighted to be assisting this traditional manufacturing business who have a long standing reputation as being a stable and family run firm with the recruitment of a business/financial analyst.

This role is based on site in Sheffield and will report to the Financial Controller. Your remit will be to work alongside the senior management team to produce timely and accurate management information and ensure the quality of the information is fit for purpose.

This is a very varied position where you will have the chance to develop your business acumen skills and undertake very detailed analysis of business processes.

We are looking for a strong communicator who is confident to get out into the business and ask probing questions of department heads. You will be an advance Excel user and be used to interpreting data in an timely and accurate manner.

Whilst a finance qualification is not essential, it is important that you have a good understanding of the inner workings of a finance department.

The preferred candidate will have minimum of three years business experience gained within a similar environment or within an analytical role.

This position is ideally suited to an experienced business/ finance analyst or a commercially minded graduate who has experience with an accounts environment.
