Our client is a Warwickshire based company who are looking for a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
This is a good time to join the business as they look to strengthen the finance team with this key appointment.
You will be responsible for preparing the statutory accounts for the organisation to meet group and legal requirements, forecasting, quarterly VAT returns, managing the tax analysis process, completed by the outsource team as required to support the tax department to identify disallowable expenditure that has been posted into sensitive areas as well as dealing with queries from head office. Producing financial reports and analysis as required to support the objectives of the finance function, providing sufficient audit evidence to assist the company auditors with half year, hard close and annual audit of the statutory accounts. Preparation of commentary on working capital, as well as completing the budgeting and forecasting for working capital and any other reasonable requirements as instructed by Accounting Controller.
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) you will have experience of working in a fast paced environment and will be very used to dealing with change.
