Commercial Finance Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a key client based in the Leeds area as they look to appoint a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working towards their CIMA/ACCA qualification who is looking to take the next step into a challenging and stimulating position.

Duties of the Commercial Finance Analyst will include:

·Liaising with UK sales team to ensure that all pricing is submitted in an accurate and timely manner
·Holding weekly reviews where appropriate to identify and resolve problem area(s)
·Providing accurate and timely financial performance data to the UK commercial team and Group Finance
·Investigating variances to plan and providing commentary
·Ensuring all promotional rebates are created in a timely manner, reconciled monthly and authorised in accordance with Company policy
·Reporting on level of outstanding customer claims and working with commercial teams to resolve issues within an agreed timeframe
·Assisting in the training of all new Account Managers in Commercial Finance procedures

Person specification:

·Studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
·Educated to degree level (advantageous)
·Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels
·Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
·Ability to work well under pressure
