Hays Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with this globally successful manufacturer in Leamington Spa, to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant.
Your new role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you will be required to work 16 hours per week. As Finance Assistant you will be responsible for both purchase and sales ledgers. You will post all customer and supplier invoices; resolve all queries; oversee and reconcile petty cash in various currencies; process employee expense claims; and reconcile company credit cards. You will also assist the finance manager and finance controller with the production of monthly management accounts and year end reporting processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for any other ad hoc duties required such as the ordering of stationery and consumables, and other admin duties.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will:
- Be IT literate with knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Experience with Sage 50 is desirable.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels.
- Work on your own initiative.
- Be friendly and comfortable working within a small team.
- Have previous experience within accounts.
