About Our Client Successful Chartered Accountancy Practice, near Staines, who's success is based upon providing a high-quality advisory lead service to SME / OMBs, seek a Client Manager. The firm encourage Client Managers to really build relationships & knowledge with clients, adding value far beyond the usual accounts & tax compliance provided by many firms.

Job Description

The structure of the firm is relatively flat. A number of Managers are allocated portfolios of clients, which are mainly SMEs, from various sectors. Your role will be varied, management reports, advisory, tax & compliance for clients, often acting as the client's most Senior financial resource. You'll be supported by a team of bookeepers and outsourced accounting support. Financial statements in accordance with FRS, UK GAAP, IAS, IFRS and the UK Companies Act. Manage outsourcing with team members and clients. Give direction, training, supervision and review work at all levels to ensure that work meets appropriate standards of quality in accounting, company secretarial, and taxation matters. Discuss management accounts and other matters with the directors and stakeholders. Provide the professional financial management (CFO Services) back up to the clients in their business. Adequate knowledge of company secretarial and payroll, PTR and auto-enrolment services Business Development consists of internal and external work on bringing more business to the practice and developing new services/products as required by the client base.

The Successful Applicant Candidates must relish client contact & sitting in the position of 'trusted advisor' to clients, on all aspects of their businesses. Ideally you'll be ACA, ACCA or CTA, though polished candidates qualified by experience or even late-stage studiers with strong client communication skills will also be considered. Experience of leading client relationships / managing a portfolio is essential.
