Graduate Assistant Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with the Financial Controller of a busy finance function within a large manufacturing business, as they look to appoint an ambitious and driven Finance Graduate to join their team on a full time, permanent basis!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone coming towards the end of their degree who is seeking the opportunity to join a business that heavily invests in its employees to ensure that all their team fulfil their potential.

Duties of the position will include but are not limited to:

- Supporting a busy finance function the production of monthly financial statements
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Posting journals
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Tax analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations

Person specification:

- 2018/2019 Graduate in Accounting & Finance, Maths or Economics
- Strong Excel skills (pivots/v look ups)
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
