This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading forward-thinking organisation. You will be leading while overseeing all operating functions with the Purchase Ledger department. This is an exciting opportunity that involves full being a focal point of decision-making and regular interaction with the senior leadership team.
This role will also offer the opportunity to drive recommendations and develop a purchase ledger function and is a pivotal role driving impact within the business for continual improvement.
Role responsibilities include:
- Manage process for the raising of debit notes where discrepancies arise with suppliers over price, quantity or quality.
- Review, propose and Implement better controls around the existing purchase order system and the wider purchase to pay process.
- Develop understanding of supplier base and liaise, and establish lines of communication, with suppliers.
- Be the key contact liaising with other departmental heads in the business, leading the team in the management of key departmental suppliers and ensuring issues are escalated and managed with departmental heads on a timely basis.
